We Google’d where to have great cocktails and arrived at Secreto Lounge. Drinks are well conceived but don’t completely meet expectations. The Smoked Sage Margarita was more burnt than smoke. Think overly blackened marshmallow. The Fennel Folly started well with infused fennel foam but then ended too sweet. Try it but it was a ‘one and done’ drink for us.

Located inside the Hotel St. Francis. A nice place to have a drink but the signature sage cocktail smell overpowered the entire bar and it was so pungent we could not enjoy our drinks inside. We went outside to finish.

Six stars. Cool little bar with amazing cocktails. Great service. Very friendly and helpful. The craft cocktails are fantastic. Great seasonal selections, including a couple drinks that include smoked glasses- a nice touch. We enjoyed several off the menu and also worked with the bartenders to customize some killer classic cocktails. We didn't eat, but the menu looked great. We will be back.

Looking for fine craft cocktails in a quaint, rustic setting?? SEARCH NO MORE! Bartenders are versed in a variety of classics and house specialty drinks. Great place to start or end an evening on the town, or just kick-back during shopping adventure downtown. The hospitality is first class, has gotten busy sometimes...price of being popular!

The lounge is located inside of the Hotel St. Francis. The seating along the wall is uncomfortable (deep seats, not any support to really lean back onto, so I ended up sitting straight up and not resting back against it while we were there). Otherwise, there are some tables, some high top seating around a large column in the middle of the bar, and of course the bar itself. The service was good for the staff they had, but it was a little over-run that night for some reason, so the waitress was running all over the place. Probably just a one-off instance as I've heard such good things about the bar. The drinks we had were good, so no complaints there.

Wow what a surprise! This place is a find. And that sounds silly as it's near the plaza and in a hotel. But today at least, it is the spot to walk in off he street on a hot day. Great music, great vibe, and a creative drink menu that matches the passion of the bartender. I walked in not expecting much(see above inside hotel in the touristy part of town), but the bartender, she made me thirsty for many of the libations. I tried the smoked sage margarita to start. The concoction came together in a wonderful way. The tart of lime with the aromas of sage worked great. Second was the Arbusto. It looks basic, but the combination of the celery bitters and the vinegar tones creates a pickle back flavor that I have never had in a tequila drink before. Original and quite good. A must try when in Santa Fe. At least once, if not more.
